Dinah Chest of Drawers

Dinah is a chest of drawers on wheels designed by Shiro Kuramata and produced by the Cappellini brand. The structure is laser-cut metal and epoxy powder-coated black. Included are 18 matt white lacquered wooden drawers that open on both sides.

Shiro Kuramata is undoubtedly the master of modern Japanese design; since the post-war period his creations have conquered the world, and his style has become instantly recognizable and always consistent. Kuramata has based his entire designer career on abstract concepts and bold choices, allowing himself to be won over by unusual and technologically advanced materials.

Dinah by Cappellini is a re-edition of the chest of drawers belonging to the PROGETTI COMPIUTI collection, a must-have in the Kuramata catalog. A piece of furniture with a strong visual impact, functional when used as an archive within a workspace, and fun when placed in a living room with vintage charm.

The entire container rests on black rubber wheels with a chrome-plated metal casing, a dynamic innovation and an abandonment of staticness for a piece of furniture designed in the early 1970s.

You can change your mind
